How the System Works

Record


Idrive X1 is a Professional Event Data Recorder System for vehicles which captures high definition videos, both of the front of the vehicle and the interior, using a dual camera device that records when an event occurs. Events include: accidents, aggressive driving behavior, door open event or panic (after pressing the specially designed panic button). The Idrive dual camera device is designed to be mounted to the windshield, behind the rear view mirror. The videos are stored on internal memory together with other information like G-force values, GPS coordinates, date, time and more, all collected from the device.



Review

You can review your own videos using the Idrive events review module that offers users the possibility to evaluate, sort the events and drivers based on criteria's like root cause distractions, adverse conditions, risky actions, poor awareness and more.

We can review your videos for you. Idrive is offering an optional daily monitoring service of all triggered events, including weekly management reports. Managed Services allows the fleet owner or manager the luxury of having their vehicles watched for them. Idrive uses in-house video review operators that are trained to locate a series of violations including but not limited to: traffic violation, poor lane selection, unsafe speed, not scanning roadway, not scanning intersection, smoking, driver unbelted, hard braking and more.

Respond


Idrive makes it easy for fleet risk and safety managers to respond to video events. Interactive reports and more are available on the Base Station Server or online using the Idrive Global Center. These tools give a clear picture of what's really happening on the road. Managers can easily retrieve individual driver history and video events to replay and discuss, resulting in objective and prescriptive coaching sessions.

Reinforce


The Idrive System through the process of recording, reviewing, and responding leads to the most important: reinforcement. Beginning with the cameras in the vehicle and ending with a manger having a discussion on an individual's driving habits, the system changes the way an individual drives. Over time those changes because of the system, become driving habits. This driving habit will continue to be reinforced by using the system's Transfer Tool, Events Player, Events Review, GPS Tracking, Reports and more.
